The waterfall is popular with white water kayakers. The easy access and safe nature of Faxi makes it a perfect water for beginners to practice on. It is generally kayaked on the river left of the lip. All kinds of craft have been paddled down it including dual person kayaks, rafts, river boards and inflatable pool toys.
